Jan 2009 - March 2010	CORNELL GLOBAL FORUM FOR SUSTAINABLE ENTERPRISE, Ithaca, New York Principal Researcher Designed research methodology to understand background and subject awareness of Forum delegates. Designed and implemented survey receiving a 75% response rate from a sample of a 150 delegates. The Forum organizers will author a paper on sustainable enterprise based on my findings.

Sept 2008 - Dec 2008	INTERNATIONAL RESCUE COMMITTEE, Silver Spring, Maryland Reception & Placement (Refugee Resettlement) Intern Established institutional relationships with public health providers in Fairfax and Loudon Counties, Virginia. Managed 12 case files with clients from Bhutan, Iraq, Iran, and Ethiopia at different stages of resettlement/integration. Supervised clients’ introduction to a foreign culture, access to public services, and assisted in job placement. Oversaw client financial compensation and budget. Created a plan for refugees to become self-sufficient. Located and furnished suitable housing for refugees.
May 2008 - Aug 2008	UNITED NATIONS CHILDREN'S FUND, Jaipur, India Knowledge Community on Children in India Internship Authored a case study on the inclusiveness of maternal and child health services in the district of Tonk. Designed and executed field research in rural areas. Evaluated operations and social practices within Maternal Child Health and Nutrition Day program. Developed recommendations and presented the results to UNICEF and the Family Health Ministry of Rajasthan.
Dec 2005 - June 2007	INTERNATIONAL RESCUE COMMITTEE, San Diego, California Student Plus Tutor Assisted in integrating recently arrived Somali refuges into public school. Taught English as a Second Language classes to Somalis and Nigerians. Counseled young refugees acclimating to life in the United States.
Dec 2005 - June 2006	EMITATIONS.COM, San Diego, California Operations & Customer Service Designed a process to more efficiently and accurately answer customer e-mail. The company customer satisfaction rating exceeded 90% as a result. Provided technical support and troubleshooting for clients. Assisted integration between Amazon.com and Emitations.com.
